  • When Cliff Swallows nest they usually nest in colonies and have a tendency to return to old nesting sites. How does it affect you? Well if the swallows decide to use your home as a nesting area it could mean anywhere from twenty to over two hundred swallows constructing mud nests.

To simply tear down the nest would hardly deter the swallows from nesting, They would simply recontruct a new nest. It is also illegal to remove a swallow's nest with eggs inside of them.

Apart from mud nests falling on your property, Swallow feces can quickly accumulate causing unhealthy situations for you and your family.

If you have had swallows then the only way to avoid the wall-stained, feces, and swallow bugs is to proof it. Simply battling swallows for control of your home's eaves will not prevent them from returning the next swallow season.
